I've decided in my great wisdom to do a monthly sculpting tip my first one is:
mix a bit of milliput in with your green stuff. this is for 3 reasons
1. It thickens out your expensive green stuff with cheaper milliput
2. It hardens a lot more like milliput allowing you to shave it with a sharp knife allowing you to smooth your miniatures out.
2. it makes the putty mixture a bit softer and clay-like which i have found to be better for sculpting fabrics etc...

hey lads and ladies (pretending i have an audience makes me feel better about myself) this shall be my first... BLOG POST!!!!
here is a recent sculpt of mine Iv'e been working on, marvellous isn't it?... Is't it!?!?!
this miniature is based off 15th-16th century (ish) german mercenaries which i quite like look of. i thought for my first real attempt at sculpting i should go for something a bit larger to make it a bit easier on myself.
so... what do you think imaginary audience? "it's great" you say? no! you're wrong it is merely acceptable! but i will admit I'm quite proud of it.
